Olympus Unveils Point-And-Shoot Camera With World’s First Built-In ‘Eagle-Eye’

Olympus recently announced the Stylus SP-100 super zoom camera. Aside from featuring a 50x optical zoom, the new point-and-shoot also comes with a built-in Eagle’s Eye dot sight for easy tracking of distant moving subjects. The zoom lens uses a 16MP BSI CMOs sensor with a TruePic VII processor and has a range of 24-1200mm. Other features include built-in optical image stabilization, automatic shooting modes and manual controls for settings like ISO, shutter speed, and aperture. The SP-100 is capable of taking videos at 60fps in full HD, 120fps at 640×480, and 240fps at 320×240 resolution. Olympus will launch the Stylus SP-100 this coming March with a price tag of $399.99.
